Cathryn Newbery shortlisted for BSME Rising Stars Award

People Management's Deputy Editor nominated for her work on the official publications of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development

People Management’s Deputy Editor, Cathryn Newbery, has been nominated in this year’s BSME Rising Stars Awards.

The British Society of Magazine Editors is the only society in the UK exclusively for magazine and website editors and senior editorial staff. Its Rising Stars Awards were created to celebrate and reward the brilliance of rising editorial and digital stars.

Cathryn has been nominated in the category of Best Deputy, against competition from Emap, ShortList and William Reed. The winners will be announced at a celebratory event at Restaurant 1901 in London, on 6th June.

Cathryn’s success caps a busy month for People Management. The brand recently announced its first overseas live event – an interactive discussion on performance management, in association with Halogen in Dubai – and cemented its international footprint with the third of its quarterly Middle East and Asia issues.

In the UK, the People Management daily e-newsletter has reached 185,000 subscribers and the recent Budget saw record levels of online and social media interaction with PM content.
