CIPS – the world's leading professional body for the procurement and supply chain profession – contracted Haymarket in November 2015 as its global supplier of media and events for its 118,000-strong international community. The first time in almost 20 years the title has had a new publisher.
We now produce all CIPS media for its Supply Management brand, including its member magazine, website content, email bulletins, social media and jobs board, as well as managing CIPS’ international events portfolio.
The new-look magazine focuses on the big issues to drive readers to other channels, while a streamlined website delivers news, analysis and jobs.
Readers and commentators have already praised the refreshed publication remarking on its "first class reporting", "superb new look and content" and "interesting, enjoyable articles with dramatic pictures".
Our relaunch of the brand in January 2016 included the launch of a new website, hosted on CIPS’ own website. This provides a more tailored experience for members, allowing them to access more relevant content based on where they are and their level of experience.
In addition to a daily email newsletter, which provides CIPS members with the latest news, jobs and events, we have launched weekly regional email bulletins to CIPS members outside the UK.
This recognises the growth of the institute’s overseas membership, and provides them with tailored content enhancing their interaction with CIPS and the brand. We will distribute more than five million emails to CIPS members and subscribers each year.
