How Haymarket Network inspired consumers to 'go solar' when we launched the industry's first newsstand-quality lifestyle magazine
In a joint venture with the British Photovoltaic Association (BPVA) in 2015, we were challenged to produce a publication never before seen by the solar industry – a newsstand-quality title designed to inspire consumers to install PV rooftop panels.
Showcasing beautiful, real-life solar homes, Make Solar Sense exuded a confident look and tone that fitted naturally within the ‘homes and lifestyle’ sector, brimming with interesting features that included a step-by-step ‘Guide to Going Solar’, ‘Solar celebrities’ and ‘The world of Formula E motorsport’.
The magazine was backed up by a website, Facebook, and Twitter campaigns, all designed to get more people talking about solar energy.
